We are looking for an exceptional HR Business Partner to support our ever-growing Digital and Customer Experience Division for Al Tayer Insignia. You will play an integral party in the growth of one of the regions leading luxury and fashion companies, Al Tayer Insignia.

About The Role

The HRBP will partner with the Insignia Digital and Customer Experience division leaders in achieving the objectives of growth and profitability through implementing a sound people strategy and future planning. You will design, develop and deliver best in class practices and programs to drive recruitment, employee engagement, retention, development and performance of the functions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Be a true partner with Digital and Customer Experience Division leaders to support the development of the HR strategies and approaches in response to business needs that strive to continuously improve processes, tools and ways of working within the organization
  • Implement a people management strategy that encompasses the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring a positive work environment that engages and delights the team
  • Analyse HR key metrics/dashboards to evaluate current practices and provide future roadmap taking into consideration the nature of the digital world and its constant evolution and participate in creating the 5 year plan for digital growth from a people perspective
  • Manages projects covering several areas including digital compensation/benefits, performance/ people management, digital specific KPIs, employee relations, change management, employee engagement as well as future digital HR projects
  • Lead manpower planning, budgeting and forecasting processes for the business, overseeing key metrics and sound data to ensure workforce planning standards and operating cost parameters are met and support the rapid business growth
  • Ensure that the business receives relevant and accurate analysis of people data to be used for decision making and process enhancement

Identify organizational development opportunities across Insignia digital/ marketing and participate in structural enhancements/ workforce planning initiatives

  • Work with the business to build plans to develop key talent, de-risk critical roles and ensure solid succession plans are in place
  • Works with People Partner peers to ensure alignment and consistency from an omni-channel perspective and across the wider portfolio
  • Maintain a solid understanding of the digital market, keeping up to date with changes that could impact the business or our employee value proposition and highlighting potential risks/ solutions where required
  • Source top talent both in region and internationally, taking accountability for filling vacancies in a timely manner, aligning with the Talent Acquisition Manager as required. Regularly review the business talent needs to ensure appropriate sourcing and selection approaches including but not limited to (FTE’s, freelancers, temporary contracts)
  • Provide expert advice to both the business and wider HR team on digital learning opportunities and emerging trends within the market
  • Drive the performance management process through a successful annual cycle, providing analysis of outcomes to ensure employees are receiving qualitative feedback and comprehensive development and career guidance
  • Lead the divisional Talent Management process for assessing current leaders and high-potential talent to ensure a pipeline of leadership and appropriate assessment, development and succession strategies specific to the digital market
  • Implement staffing and manpower budgeting strategies in line with the accelerated business growth in the digital arena
  • Evaluate and monitor the implementation of fixed and variable pay practices, ensuring alignment with the established compensation and benefits structure of Al Tayer Group and suggesting changes specific to the digital market where required
  • Oversee employee relations initiatives to ensure staff grievances, departures and disciplinary issues are managed for timely and satisfactory solution and within HR policies and procedures
  • Surface people related trends and champion potential solutions to ensure optimal employee engagement, retention, positive work environment and culture of inclusion
  • Participate in the accurate and timely completion of the salary review, bonus exercise, expense control and budgeting processes

About You

You ideally will have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within a fast paced, diverse environment, preferably in a digital sector. You will be an expert in understanding the digital market and its emerging trends. A fashion and retail enthusiast would be a plus!

Fluency in English is essential, and Arabic would be highly advantageous.
