The Sr Infrastructure Administrator reporting to the Head of IT infrastructure & Operations, will be intensely involved in Infrastructure Admin / Operations, improvements, advice, work on the problems and contribute to the Infrastructure setup.
This position will require on-call responsibilities for the duties or functions routinely performed. Additionally, maintenance activities that affect service availability routinely require work outside of regular business hours.
You will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of cloud and onsite infrastructure. Efforts to limit work disruptions within the organization include systems preventative maintenance, planning and implementation of new solutions, and providing advanced support to resolve infrastructure problems.
Key Objectives:
Proven knowledge of architecting successful, secure systems based on company/department needs.
Data Center – Knowledge of data center technologies, functions, and infrastructure.
Security – Knowledge of advanced security trends and best practices.
Troubleshooting – Knowledge of advanced troubleshooting techniques.
Virtualization – Knowledge of advanced virtual infrastructure solutions based on VMware.
System administration – Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux environments.
Active Directory – Knowledge of advanced Active Directory administration.
Mission Critical Systems and Applications – Knowledge of maintaining highly available applications and systems
