Trader for dealing/trading desk for all aspects of daily trading and client broking.
• Must have product knowledge of FUTURES AND OPTIONS
- Must be familiar with trading platforms like CQG / XTRADER / PATS
- Service customer on phone trading for FUTURES AND OPTIONS
- Setting limits on all trading platform
- Resolve any queries related to trade from customer
- Tracking of customer’s market data requirement and billing them appropriately
• Risk Monitoring
- Knowledge of financial services products and markets & Previous experience with FUTURES AND OPTIONS Financial Services Firm or similar industries
• CISI certifications related to trading, securities and investments
- Report to the Head of Trading
- Daily communication with client and brokers
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with various aspects of the trading process, including but not limited to execution, risk management, daily operations, and overall desk activities
Ability to communicate directly with the client counter-parties
Ensure orders and flow are properly entered and communicated to clients
Ability to analyse/summarise daily market headlines as it pertains to desk activity
Facilitate the spread of new/updated research throughout the trading desk.
Requirements & Qualifications
Ability to work independently and successfully manage multiple tasks in a complex and fast-paced environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent computer proficiency, including Excel and other MS Office applications
Demonstrated strong work ethic and team player focused on contributing to the success of the trading desk.
