Associated British Ports (ABP) is both a major landlord and port operator with 21 port locations in the UK. Our Humber operation incorporates 4 ports in Immingham, Hull, Goole and Grimsby and handles over 60 million tonnes of Cargo combined on an annual basis. We work very closely with our customers to provide innovative solutions to logistics within the UK and on the back of this deliver a number of projects annually with major impact to the Britain’s economy and to the long term efficiency of the shipping industry.
The Humber ports play a significant role in delivery of our sustainability goals with the UK’s largest solar array on a private building, assisting Siemens with building offshore energy generation and delivering projects to move towards reducing carbon emissions.
We are currently looking to recruit an Administrator to provide ongoing support to the Engineering Leads in Hull. Working Monday to Friday you’ll assist with inputting and extracting information from our CMMS (Mainsaver), ensure that information around holidays, absences, driving licences and training is correctly updated and is current. Some experience of administrating SSOW, risk assessments and PPE is ideal.
- Pro-active approach with sound organisational and motivational skills
- Sound I.T skills which should include Outlook, Excel & Word
- Previous experience in an engineering administration role
- Service and Customer driven with good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate at all levels.
- Full UK Driving Licence (Desirable)
