CRM Specialist is mainly responsible for strengthening our relationship with our subscribers throughout their lifecycle to drive high-value behaviors, help reduce churn and increase lifetime value. You will be driving the marketing strategy and development of all customer lifecycle, upsell/cross-sell, engagement, and retention initiatives. This role will be part of a new team passionate about leveraging premium content, extensive data and targeting capabilities, and creative ideas to deliver the right creative/message, in the right channel, to the right customer at the right time.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Overall responsibility for leading and managing all facets of the CRM and development of retention and engagement of subscribers for the OTT service
  • Management of campaigns to up-sell packages of existing subscribers and retain subscriptions
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders on a regular basis both reporting on analytical findings and assessing management requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Content teams to put forward mechanisms to engage existing subscribers (e-mail, push notifications etc.)
  • Use of available data to identify performance areas with scope for improvement
  • Collaborate with MarTech & Marketing Platforms teams to optimize CRM systems available
  • Formulation of actionable recommendations to address performance shortfalls
  • Use and create reports and dashboards to provide business intelligence for upper management
  • Establish cross-functional and cross-business unit working groups and steering committee to address strategic business issues and initiatives
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the best industry practice in subscription services and the Media industry
  • Leverage content knowledge to identify Target Audience segments

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing or related field.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience in all aspects of customer lifecycle management including personalized and broad-scale campaigns, loyalty programs, up-sell and cross-sell strategy, promotions and customer segmentation
  • Fluent in English and Arabic in a business setting
  • Experience in a results driven environment
  • Expertise in market segmentation, sales pipelines
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, ability to guide, challenge and coach people
  • Demonstrated success at recruiting, leading, coaching and developing a high-performing team
  • Proven track record of working at the strategic and tactical level to develop and execute innovative CRM initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with data driven approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present complex data, influence others and build relationships
  • Passion for Entertainment and Sports Content
  • Deep understanding of customer retention, especially in a content based marketing setting
  • Deep understanding of the role of data and research in driving subscriber retention
  • Understanding of and experience with SVOD/OTT preferred
  • Marketing ROI measurement
  • Marketing budget management
  • Advanced experience working with product, tech and data teams for complex database marketing, data / tech requirements gathering and driving integration with CRM technologies (specifically including Salesforce / ExactTarget)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams
  • Ability to maintain collaborative environment under stressful situations
