Job Purpose

To ensure that all purchasing related administration pertaining to the procurement of goods and services for the company is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Key Position Accountabilities

  • Process approved requisitions to local purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintain record of all LPOs issued including all supporting documents, samples, brochures and directories.
  • Maintain and monitor an LPO tracker per internal channel/business unit to ensure all procured goods have been delivered to requestor as per delivery details in LPO and ensure that when delivery is not on schedule, internal colleagues are kept regularly updated.
  • Perform contracts/data upload, update internal master databases and Scanmarket eSourcing system with supplier details and files (dates, suppliers, contract documentation, points of contact) to ensure that all activity is streamlined centrally and kept accurate at all times.

Selection Criteria


  • Fluent in English – Excellent communicator in verbal and written format
  • Excellent command of MS Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
  • Highly Organized (Records and systems need to be constantly updated and maintained)
  • Excellent attention to detail (drafting LPOs, inputting data into Scanmarket and delivery schedule update to stakeholders).


  • Local (UAE) market knowledge of products and services
  • Procurement background.
  • Previous experience of using eSourcing/eCommerce/ERP tools.
